Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Automation Engineer responsible for designing, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical and industrial automation systems. The candidate should have hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, control panels, industrial communication, and electrical drawings.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical control and automation systems.

Prepare electrical schematics, control panel drawings, I/O lists, and wiring diagrams.

Program and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, SCADA, and VFD systems.

Perform machine installation, commissioning, testing, and site acceptance.

Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, PLC, and automation-related issues.

Configure industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profibus/Profinet.

Select and integrate sensors, relays, contactors, motors, drives, PLCs, and other automation components.

Coordinate with mechanical, production, maintenance, and project teams.

Ensure compliance with electrical safety and applicable engineering standards.

Prepare technical documentation, manuals, and commissioning reports.





Provide technical support for existing automation systems and implement improvements.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of industrial automation and electrical control systems.

Hands-on experience with PLC programming, preferably Siemens / Allen-Bradley / Mitsubishi / Schneider.

Knowledge of HMI/SCADA systems.

Positive understanding of VFDs, servo drives, MCCs, PCCs, control panels, and motor control.

Ability to read and modify electrical drawings.

Knowledge of industrial sensors and field devices.

Understanding of PLC networking and industrial communication.

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical or similar electrical design software is an advantage.

Educational Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.

Preferred Experience

Experience in machine automation, manufacturing, process plants, or industrial projects.

Experience with PLC/HMI commissioning and on-site troubleshooting.

Willingness to travel to customer/project sites when required.
