Role & responsibilities
- Bachelors Degree in Library and Information Science (B.L.I.Sc / BLSI) is mandatory.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the school library.
- Maintain proper records of books, periodicals, and other library resources.
- Assist students in selecting age-appropriate books and develop their reading habits.
- Coordinate with teachers to support curriculum-based learning resources.
- Maintain a well-organized, child-friendly, and welcoming library setting.
- Ensure timely issue and return of books and maintain accurate library records.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with library management systems.
