About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, organized, and proactive Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day business operations, streamline project workflows, and manage client and vendor logistics. You will serve as the operational backbone of our interior design studio, bridging creative design concepts with seamless execution, financial efficiency, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Workflow Management
- Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation across all active design projects.
- Coordinate project schedules between interior designers, architects, contractors, and field teams.
- Implement and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance team efficiency and client experience.

Procurement & Logistics
- Manage procurement for furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E;), tracking orders from initial quote through white-glove delivery and installation.
- Build, negotiate, and maintain strong relationships with vendors, manufacturers, tradespeople, and shipping suppliers.
- Oversee warehouse inventory, damage claims, returns,



and site logistics.

Financial & Administrative Operations
- Manage project budgets, purchase orders, client invoices, and vendor payments alongside bookkeeping/finance teams.
- Track project profitability, overhead costs, and operational KPIs.
- Draft and maintain client contracts, scope of work agreements, and sub-contractor proposals.

Team Leadership & Communication
- Lead internal operations meetings, tracking project milestones and removing operational bottlenecks.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for operational inquiries from clients, trade partners, and contractors.
- Onboard recent staff, manage studio office operations, and maintain vendor resource libraries.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 3–5+ years of operations, studio, or project management experience—preferably within interior design, architecture, or creative agency environments.
