Responsibilities
- Lead cloud cost optimization initiatives across enterprise AWS environments.
- Implement and manage EC2 rightsizing, scheduling, and infrastructure efficiency programs.
- Drive Savings Plans and Reserved Instance (RI) optimization strategies.
- Optimize containerized workloads across EKS and ECS platforms.
- Establish governance frameworks covering tagging, budgeting, allocation, and compliance.
- Develop automation solutions using Infrastructure as Code and scripting technologies.
- Partner with engineering, platform, and business teams to improve cloud financial accountability and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience delivering cloud cost reduction programs, implementing governance controls, and driving financial transparency across AWS environments. Solid hands-on expertise in Terraform, cloud automation, and AWS cost management services is highly desirable.
