About the Role:

Design and build 3D representation of warehouses, intra-logistics, production process flow etc. Build dark-factory digital twins in NVIDIA Omniverse from layout specifications, modify them as designs change, and keep the OpenUSD asset pipeline dependable - creating assets, maintaining and extending our USD library, and ensuring scenes load, render and perform within budget.

Co-ordinate with the Simulation Engineer, who defines what the facility must do. You make it exist in 3D — accurately, efficiently, and ready for client review.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop and deploy
Omniverse-based digital twin solutions
for warehouse and industrial environments
- Build and maintain workflows using
OpenUSD and RTX rendering pipelines
- Ingest and convert customer
CAD and layout data
into simulation-ready USD assets
- Own the reusable asset library — racking, conveyors, AMRs, pallets, containers and equipment
- Author layout
variants




so alternative designs can be compared within a single scene
- Define and enforce the
metadata schema
linking twin objects to ERP data
- Develop
Python
tooling for asset pipelines, scene validation and automation
- Optimise scenes to hit
VRAM and performance budgets
, including trimmed collider sets
- Produce client-ready renders, walkthroughs and camera setups for design review
- Document technical designs, solution components and implementation workflows

Must Have
- 0–1 years
in 3D content, pipeline or simulation development
- Robust 3D scene-graph fundamentals: transforms, hierarchies,
instancing
, LODs, UVs and PBR materials
- Production-level skill in one DCC tool:
Blender / Maya / 3ds Max
- Python
for asset pipelines — batch processing, validation and format conversion
- Demonstrated work to performance budgets on large scenes (draw calls, VRAM, texture streaming)
- Version control for binary assets —
Git LFS
or Perforc
