InDesign pagination Books production_XML workflow

Roles and responsibilities:
- Proven experience in book Pagination and Layout
- Proficiency in handling Adobe InDesign
- Ensure adherence to publisher style guides
- Implement author/editor corrections from proof stages
- In depth knowledge in handling various styles. Should have handled complex books layouts
- Check for layout consistency. Ensure fonts, styles, and formatting are uniform throughout
- Produce print ready layouts in compliance with publisher guidelines (Print/Online)
- Perform preflight checks for errors before production
- Coordinate with Internal/external stake holders in various stages of workflow

Must to have Skills
- Robust proficiency in Adobe InDesign. Preferably from publishing background
- Good understanding of book publishing XML first workflows
- Knowledge of typography, grid systems, and page design
- Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat (for proofing & markup), Microsoft Word (handling manuscripts)
