Position Summary
The Manager will serve as a key engagement management lead across a portfolio of complex U.S. domestic and global tax engagements, with accountability for day-to-day delivery management, governance, execution, and stakeholder communication.

This role will drive engagement planning, operational visibility, issue resolution, and cross-functional coordination across U.S. and global tax compliance and related tax accounting activities to help deliver a consistent, scalable, and high-quality client and internal experience.

Work you'll do
As a Tax Manager, BTS Operate on the BTS Tax Operate team, you will be responsible for:
- Lead day-to-day engagement governance and project management across a portfolio of U.S. domestic and global tax engagements.
- Manage engagement workplans, service delivery milestones, dashboards, reporting routines, and stakeholder communications to support disciplined execution.
- Coordinate tax compliance and tax accounting activities, including document and data requests, workpaper tracking, review readiness, filing deliverables,



and platform-based delivery tracking.
- Drive issue resolution, risk management, scope management, and engagement economics, including staffing plans, budget tracking, fee forecasting, realization monitoring, invoicing support, and follow-up on variances.
- Support onboarding, transitions, scope changes, and pursuit activities, including kickoff coordination, stakeholder alignment, Statement of Work support, delivery setup, and collaboration across Deloitte teams and member firms.
