- Record and maintain daily financial transactions.
- Prepare and maintain ledgers, journals, and vouchers.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment records.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor expenses, income, and cash flow.
- Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other tax-related records/returns as applicable.
- Assist with audits and provide required financial documents.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
- Identify discrepancies or errors and resolve them promptly.
- Coordinate with banks, vendors, customers, auditors, and management.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.
- Use accounting software such as Tally, Excel, depending on the organization.
