Job Title: Revenue Cycle Management Denial Specialist with 3-5 years of experience
Location: Chennai
Summary of Duties: Extensive experience in Accounts Receivables Management, Follow-up, Denials and Appeals process. Knowledge of clinical denials, appeals and follow-up required.
Supervision Received: Reports to Accounts Receivable Manager
Responsibilities
- Reviews Denials and decides on the course of action with insurance companies.
- Follows up and drives next steps for both clinical and non-clinical denials and reports status of delinquent accounts.
- Review payment posting from insurance companies and patients.
- Conducts self in accordance with organization s employee manual.
- Maintains strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.
Education
Minimum Graduate with excellent communication skills
Skills/Experience
- Knowledge of qualified and facility medical billing/RCM practices.
- Proficiency with multiple practice management applications such as eClinicalWorks.
- Knowledge of Accounts Receivables and Denials follow-up with insurance companies.
- Willingness to work on India night shift.
- Knowledge of basic medical coding (ICD 10) and third-party operating procedures is a plus.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, patients and coworkers.
- Team player and goal oriented.
