Key Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Transact SQL (T-SQL), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) & SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Knowledge of the inner working of SQL Server is an advantage.
- Ownership of reviewing code implemented by the team to ensure it is robust, testable, and maintainable.
- Proficient in SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) with a solid focus on the multi-dimensional model. Experience with the tabular model is also advantageous. Ideally you will have been involved in designing large scale cubes, as well as maintaining them.
- Thorough understanding of developing and deploying to a Route-to-Live and Production environments with a DevOps mindset.
- Advanced skill in in debugging and performance tuning with understanding of extended events, DMVs execution plans, database statistics etc.
- Expertise in using GIT as Source Control Management tool.
- Table/index design and Query Optimisation experience.
- Data Modelling, Data warehousing SSAS Cube design experience beneficial.
- Experience of Business Intelligence Markup Language (BIML) beneficial.
- Experienced in writing and debugging C# code in SSIS Script components.
- Well versed using GIT as Source Control Management tool.
- Experience of Business Intelligence Markup Language (BIML) beneficial.
- Able to work to tight deadlines and have a head to work under pressure.

1. Develop and implement etl processes using microsoft ssis to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into sql server databases.
2. Create and maintain reports using sql server reporting services (ssrs) to visualize data and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders.
