Job Responsibilities
- Create and develop 2D and 3D mechanical designs, layouts, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Prepare engineering drawings, component drawings, assembly drawings, and fabrication drawings.
- Develop 3D models and mechanical assemblies using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, Inventor, or relevant CAD software.
- Interpret engineering specifications, sketches, P&IDs;, technical documents, and design requirements.
- Perform basic design calculations, material selection, tolerance analysis, and component sizing.
- Ensure designs meet required engineering standards, specifications, safety requirements, and manufacturing capabilities.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, production, quality, procurement, and engineering teams.




- Modify and improve existing designs based on production requirements, customer feedback, and engineering changes.
- Prepare and maintain BOMs, parts lists, engineering change documents, and technical documentation.
- Review designs for manufacturability, assembly, functionality, and cost optimization.
- Support prototype development, testing, troubleshooting, and design validation.
- Incorporate feedback from manufacturing and production teams into final designs.
- Maintain proper revision control and engineering documentation.
