1. Strategic Project Management - Lead and oversee multiple telecom/OFC/OSP projects from planning to successful closure. Develop project execution strategies, timelines, manpower plans and resource requirements. Ensure projects are delivered within approved scope, budget, quality and timelines. Identify project risks, dependencies and critical issues and implement corrective actions. Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO on project performance and business-critical matters.
2. Project Planning & Performance - Establish project milestones, targets and measurable KPIs. Monitor project progress through regular reviews and MIS. Analyse project productivity, delays, resource utilisation and operational performance. Ensure timely achievement of project milestones and customer commitments. Develop recovery plans for delayed or critical projects.
3. Leadership & Team Management- Lead and mentor Project Managers, Project Engineers, Area Leads, Field Engineers and site teams. Build an accountable and performance-driven project team.
Review team performance and establish individual and project-level targets. Ensure effective coordination between Project, ROW, QA, SCM, Finance, HR and other departments.
4. Customer & Stakeholder Management - Maintain senior-level relationships with customers, telecom operators, consultants and other stakeholders. Participate in customer review meetings and project steering meetings. Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of critical customer concerns. Understand customer expectations and ensure service delivery accordingly.
5. ROW & Government Coordination - Provide strategic direction for ROW permissions and statutory approvals. Coordinate with government authorities, local bodies, utility agencies and other stakeholders. Monitor critical ROW issues and ensure timely resolution through the concerned teams. Develop strategies to minimise ROW-related project delays.
