Educational Qualification:
B.Sc Nursing or GNM with valid nursing council registration.

Technical Skills:
OT preparation and sterile field maintenance, Surgical instrument handling, Infection control and sterilization techniques, Surgical counting procedures, Emergency response handling.

Experience:
1–3 years of OT/Surgical experience preferred.

Personal Attributes:
Compassionate, skilled, adaptable, and able to work under pressure.

*Job Description:*
- Prepare operation theatre for surgical procedures.
- Arrange and maintain sterile surgical instruments and supplies.
- Assist surgeons during surgeries by providing required instruments and materials.
- Maintain strict aseptic and infection control practices.
- Perform surgical counts for instruments,



needles, and sponges before and after procedures.
- Ensure proper handling and sterilization of surgical equipment.
- Coordinate with circulating nurses and OT technicians.
- Monitor availability of OT consumables and supplies.
- Handle specimens properly and send them for laboratory analysis when required.
- Ensure proper documentation related to surgical procedures.
- Assist in cleaning and preparation of OT after procedures.
- Follow NABH protocols and hospital safety standards.
- Participate in emergency and trauma surgeries whenever required.
