We are looking for an experienced and responsible Machine Operator to manage manufacturing operations in our modular furniture and interior production facility. The candidate will be responsible for operating woodworking machinery, understanding production drawings and cutting documents, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring smooth factory operations from production to dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Operations
- Operate and maintain Panel Saw, Edge Banding Machine, and Cold Press Machine.
- Ensure accurate cutting, edge banding, and processing of plywood, MDF, particle board, and related materials.
- Perform routine machine inspections and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and ensure protected working conditions.
Production & Documentation
- Read and understand cutting lists, production drawings, and work orders.
- Verify measurements before production.
- Coordinate with designers and production teams to ensure accurate execution.
- Identify discrepancies in drawings or production documents and report them promptly.
Factory Management
- Monitor daily factory production activities.
- Supervise helpers and carpenters assigned to production work.
- Ensure materials are properly utilized and wastage is minimized.
- Maintain inventory of boards, laminates, hardware, and consumables.
- Coordinate loading, unloading, and dispatch activities.
Quality Control
- Ensure finished products meet company quality standards.
- Inspect components before moving to assembly and installation stages.
- Maintain consistency in workmanship and finishing.
Safety & Maintenance
- Follow all factory safety procedures.
- Ensure machines are serviced and maintained regularly.
- Report breakdowns and coordinate repairs when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in modular furniture, woodworking, or interior manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience operating Panel Saw, Edge Banding Machine, and Cold Press Machine.
