Scheduling the overall plan for the assigned Turnaround/ shutdown units of activities with special focus on critical path sequencing.
Job Duties includes (but not limited to):
1. Responsible for entering and maintaining the detailed job plan data, (job steps, logic, resources, etc.) into Primavera P6
2. Perform Turnaround Scheduling
3. Responsible for performing schedule analysis to ensure that the process and procedures detailed in the Turnaround Work Scheduling Process have been applied
4. Adhere to Engineering and Projects Segment financial, business and project processes
5. Provide all necessary schedules to ensure the development of proper estimates and cost forecasts within a project stage
6. Coordinate with TA Planner to develop the Turnaround schedule and logic path
7. Responsible for issuing the required schedule and resource reports from Primavera
8. Responsible for preparing and distributing the look-ahead reports for the daily scheduling meetings
9. Responsible for review, validation and entry of field provided schedule status updates.
10. Responsible for performing required data queries and generation of the required reports to calculate process and performance
11. Work inside the existing WBS structure and interface with Integrated Field Schedule
12. Finalize Plan in Primavera and enter all necessary steps
13. Coordination with all inter departments for carrying out job
14. Daily report to the manager for the activity carried out and planning for the next day, and work as per instruction of reporting manager
15. All safety, PSM and IIF ongoing initiatives shall be followed as per HSE department
16. Ensure all work is done within stipulated time frame
Job Requirements :
- 7-18 years of experience in refinery or petrochemical industry as a Planning Engineer or similar role.
- Robust understanding of scheduling principles and practices (e.g., Gantt charts).
