Job Title: Retail Merchandiser & Planner

Location: Head Office (Lower Parel, Mumbai)

Experience: 5 to 6 yrs

Role Overview The Merchandiser will be responsible for managing fabric selection, inventory planning, sales optimization, and cross-functional coordination between Design, Marketing, Stores, and Vendors. The role focuses on ensuring the right product is available at the right time, in the right quantity, and at the right margin.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fabric & Inventory Planning
- Plan fabric buys based on sales, seasonality, and launches
- Maintain optimal stock levels; minimize stockouts and overstock
- Track slow-moving inventory and drive corrective actions
- Manage vendor coordination, replenishment, and lead times

2. Sales & Store Coordination
- Monitor sell-through across categories, fabrics, and stores
- Drive merchandising and VM execution for launches




- Act as POC between Design, Stores, and Marketing
- Support store teams with product knowledge and storytelling

3. Performance & Reporting
- Track sales, stock, and product performance weekly/monthly
- Identify gaps and recommend actions to improve sell-through
- Analyze performance by fabric, fit, and price point

4. Market & Pricing
- Track trends, competitor pricing, and customer preferences
- Support pricing and margin decisions
- Work with vendors to optimize costs

5. E-commerce
- Manage online assortment, availability, and launches
- Track online performance and drive corrective actions
- Coordinate with content and tech for accurate listings
