Academic Counseller (Sales
): This is a frontline role at the heart of Srijee Tutor's growth engine.

You will be the first voice a parent or student hears when they reach out to us — and the last reason they choose to trust us with their child's education.

You will handle inbound and outbound leads, understand student needs, match them with the right tutors, convert enquiries into enrolments, and nurture long-term parent relationships. This is not a passive order-taking job — it demands hustle, empathy, and a genuine commitment to outcomes.

a) Lead Management & Conversion

Handle inbound enquiries from parents and students via phone, WhatsApp, and digital channels ● Conduct structured discovery calls to understand student requirements (grade, board, subject, location, learning goals)

Present Srijee Tutor's offerings confidently and convert qualified leads into paid enrolments

Follow up diligently on warm and cold leads using the CRM pipeline ● Achieve monthly enrolment targets and revenue conversion KPIs

Reporting & CRM Discipline Eligibility & Qualifications

Education: Graduate in any discipline (Education, Commerce, Arts, or Science preferred)

Experience: 1–4 years in sales, tele-sales, counselling, or customer-facing roles Industry Preference: EdTech, Education, Coaching, Training, Insurance, B2C Services Language: Fluent in English & Hindi along with native language. Location: Must be based in Kolkata or willing to relocate immediately

Must-Have

Robust verbal communication and active listening skills

Genuine empathy — ability to understand a parent's anxiety and a student's goals

Persistent, target-oriented mindset — comfortable with daily calling routines

Basic proficiency in smartphones, WhatsApp, and spreadsheets

Ability to explain service offerings clearly without jargon.
