Role & Responsibilities:
- Perform CFD simulations for centrifugal compressors, turbines, turbochargers, and electric compressor applications.
- Develop fluid domains using CATIA, OnShape, and ANSYS SpaceClaim.
- Generate high-quality tetrahedral and hexahedral meshes using ICEM CFD, TurboGrid, and ANSYS Mesher.
- Execute CFD analysis using ANSYS Fluent and CFX to evaluate aerodynamic performance and flow characteristics.
- Analyze and interpret simulation results, prepare technical reports, and present findings to engineering stakeholders.
- Support product development and design optimization activities through simulation-driven recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with established CFD best practices and quality standards.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Aeronautical Engineering.
- 4 to 8 years of experience in CFD analysis of turbomachinery, compressors, turbines, or turbochargers.
- Robust experience with ANSYS Fluent, CFX, ICEM CFD, TurboGrid, CATIA, and SpaceClaim.
- Knowledge of rotating machinery aerodynamics and thermal-fluid analysis.
- Exposure to Python programming is an advantage.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
