A Mechanical Draftsman is responsible for preparing, modifying, and maintaining detailed mechanical drawings and technical documentation based on engineering specifications and design requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare 2D / 3D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD, Solid Works and Master Cam software.
- Develop detailed component, assembly, fabrication, machining, and manufacturing drawings.
- Prepare drawings with appropriate dimensions, tolerances, GD&T;, surface finish, material specifications, and machining details.
- Interpret engineering drawings, sketches, specifications, and design instructions.
- Modify existing drawings based on engineering changes and customer requirements.
- Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and supporting technical documents.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Quality, Purchase, and Inspection departments.
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable engineering standards and customer specifications.
- Maintain drawing revisions, records, and document control.
- Support manufacturing and inspection teams by resolving drawing-related technical queries.




- Prepare drawings for machining, CNC operations, fabrication, and special-purpose components

Experience Profile

Mechanical Draftsman with 3–5 years of experience in mechanical engineering/manufacturing industries, preferably with experience in:
- AutoCAD 2D drafting and detailing.
- Mechanical component and assembly drawings.
- CNC machining and manufacturing drawings.
- GD&T;, dimensional tolerances, fits, and surface-finish symbols.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Preparation of machining and fabrication drawings.
- Revision and maintenance of engineering drawings.
- Preparation of BOM and technical documentation.
- Coordination with Production, Quality, and Inspection departments.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments and basic manufacturing processes.
