Job Description Civil Site Engineer

Job Summary

The Civil Site Engineer is responsible for planning, supervising, coordinating, and executing day-to-day construction activities while ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines. The role requires close coordination with the Design, Procurement, QA/QC, Finance, and Project Management teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Pre-Construction Activities

1. Verify site conditions, site boundaries, benchmarks, and survey references before commencing any construction activity.

2. Ensure proper site marking, layout, centerline marking, and setting-out as per approved drawings.

3. Verify survey levels using Auto Level,



Total Station, or other surveying equipment.

4. Study and understand all approved Architectural, Structural, Plumbing, Electrical, and MEP drawings before execution.

5. Review BOQ, specifications, and construction methodology before commencing work.

Site Execution

6. Supervise day-to-day construction activities as per approved drawings and specifications.

7. Ensure work is executed according to project schedule and construction sequence.

8. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and internal departments for smooth execution.

9. Monitor excavation, footing, RCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, finishing, and all associated civil works.

10. Ensure proper alignment, levels, dimensions, and workmanship during execution.

11. Identify technical issues at site and provide practical engineering solutions.

12. Monitor productivity and ensure timely completion
