Senior Executive – Registered Nurse provides care for a wide-range of Gynec, Obstetric, Pediatric Neonatal conditions.
Position Responsibilities:
Senior Executive – Registered Nurse provides direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. In addition to basic nursing care, responsibilities of Senior Executive Registered Nurse include (but are not limited to):
Daily Job Activities:
1. Provides age and culturally appropriate care to patient.
2. Consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans and helps the Junior Nurse Executive in implementing it.
3. Takes handover from the outgoing staff based on the allotment of patients.
4. Takes inventory of the area instruments and articles as per the responsibility allotted by the Lead Nurse Specialist.
5. Reports to the Lead Specialist Ward when a problem faced in caring and safety of the patients.

Mentoring executive registered nurse executive auxillary nurse in correlating the disease condition and reports untoward changes.
7. Monitors and adjusts specialized and routine biomedical equipments used for the care of the patients.
8. Takes responsibility in maintaining the equipments to the best of usage and reports to higher authority if breakdown happens in the presence as well as absence of the Lead Specialist Ward.
9. Prepares, administers and records prescribed medications. Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments as per hospital policy (High risk High Alert /LASA medication, Narcotic Policy and Verbal order policy).
10. Assists treating consultant during examination, treatment and procedures, which can include life-saving situations.
11. Analyzes lab results and reports as required to the concerned authority for faster treatment.
12. Supervises the junior executive registered nurse in all the patient related activities for the smooth functioning of the unit.
