Role & responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day HR operations at the plant.
- Handle manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, and deployment.
- Manage employee and workmen relations and address HR-related grievances.
- Coordinate with production and functional teams on manpower requirements and HR matters.
- Support attendance, leave, payroll inputs, overtime, and HRIS activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Coordinate with contractors/vendors and maintain contract labour documentation.
- Support implementation of HR policies, processes, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Manage performance management, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and other employee lifecycle processes.
- Conduct employee engagement activities, HR communication, and welfare initiatives.
- Support disciplinary processes and documentation in accordance with company policy.
- Maintain accurate HR records, reports, MIS, and statutory documentation.




- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders during audits and inspections.
- Support training and development initiatives for plant employees and workmen.
- Drive HR initiatives related to 5S, employee discipline, productivity, safety culture, and continuous improvement.

Preferred candidate profile
- MBA/PGDM in HR / Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing/plant environment.
- Robust knowledge of HR generalist functions and labour-related processes.
- Working knowledge of applicable labour laws and statutory compliance.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and employee-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced plant environment.
- Strong MS Office/HRMS skills and ability to prepare HR MIS.
- Candidate should be willing to work from the plant location and interact regularly with employees/workmen.
