We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager Software to lead the development of our Android applications and connected software platforms.
The ideal candidate should have a solid technical background in Android development, experience leading engineering teams, and should remain hands-on with technology and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the Software Engineering Team while remaining technically hands-on.
- Own software architecture, Android development, code quality, documentation, releases and engineering execution.
- Work closely with Product, Hardware and Management to deliver reliable, scalable and high-quality products.
What Were Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience in Android application development, preferably using Kotlin.
- Experience leading software projects and engineering teams end-to-end.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, databases and system integrations.
- Experience with Bluetooth/BLE, IoT or hardware-connected applications will be preferred.
- Backend development experience will be an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving ability and ability to take end-to-end ownership.
