416 Pasta Bar is a modern pasta and café concept in Andheri West, Mumbai, built around great food, specialty coffee, hospitality and a strong attention to detail.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Barista to join our opening team and play an important role in building our coffee program from the ground up.

This is not just a coffee-making role. We are looking for someone who understands coffee, enjoys hospitality, takes ownership of their station, and is excited to help us develop and continuously improve our beverage program.

The Role

As a Barista at 416, you will be responsible for delivering consistently excellent coffee and beverage experiences while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, service and hospitality.

You will work closely with the senior team to develop the coffee program, maintain recipes and standards,



train junior team members and contribute ideas for new beverages and seasonal offerings.

Key Responsibilities

Coffee & Beverage Preparation
- Prepare consistently excellent espresso-based beverages including espresso, americano, cappuccino, flat white, latte, mocha and other specialty coffee beverages.
- Understand espresso extraction and be able to adjust grind size, dose and extraction time throughout the day.
- Dial in coffee according to the beans, roast profile, humidity, temperature and service conditions.
- Understand milk texturing and latte art.
- Maintain consistency in beverage recipes, portioning and presentation.
- Prepare iced coffee, cold coffee and other non-alcoholic beverages according to 416 standards.
- Assist with developing new coffee and beverage recipes.
- Understand coffee beans, roast profiles, flavour characteristics and brewing methods.

Machines & Equipment
- Confidently operate a commercial 2-group espresso machine.
