Role Summary Commis I is the senior baker on the frontline shaping dough into delight ensuring consistency and supporting the section like the steady heartbeat of the bakery Key Responsibilities Prepare bake and finish breads rolls pastries and basic confectionery as per hotel standards Maintain product consistency portion control and presentation quality Assist in developing new bakery items under the guidance of CDP Pastry Chef Monitor stock levels report shortages and assist in daily requisitions Ensure mise en place is ready for all service periods Maintain hygiene safety and sanitation standards at all times HACCP compliance Train and guide Commis II and trainees Operate bakery equipment safely mixers ovens sheeters etc Support banquet and cafe requirements as needed Skills Requirements 2-3 years of bakery experience preferred Strong knowledge of breads doughs and basic pastries Ability to handle peak production smoothly Good communication and teamwork skills Qualification Diploma or degree in hotel management specialised in bakery and confectionery Job Type Full time Work Location In person
