About Us Unienrol Guru Tech Private Limited is a software and administrative support company based in Chandigarh We provide backend support accounting services and administrative solutions to our associated education institutions in Australia ensuring smooth and efficient operational flow We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with strong experience in core accounting functions The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounts for our Indian office handling audits preparing financial statements maintaining expense records and supporting our finance operations aligned with local and international requirements Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers Prepare and maintain balance sheets profit loss statements and other financial reports Handle accounts payable and receivable Manage company expenses including verification categorisation and timely reporting Oversee invoicing billing and payment follow-ups Perform account reconciliation and ensure timely month-end and year-end closures Handle internal and external audits including preparation and submission of audit documents Manage statutory requirements GST TDS PF ESI and other Indian tax compliances Support budgeting forecasting and financial planning activities Coordinate with the finance teams supporting India and Australia operations Ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards and internal company policies Required Qualifications Experience Master s degree in Accounting Finance or related field Minimum 2-4 years of hands-on experience in accounting Robust understanding of Indian accounting principles and statutory regulations Experience in preparing balance sheets financial statements handling expenses and assisting in audits Proficiency in Tally QuickBooks Zoho Books or similar accounting software Strong analytical numerical and organisational skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Experience with education sector accounts preferred but not mandatory Key Skills Financial reporting documentation Expense management Balance sheet P L preparation Audit coordination compliance GST TDS taxation knowledge Reconciliation expertise Advanced MS Excel skills Strong communication problem-solving abilities Benefits Competitive salary package Supportive work culture Opportunities for professional growth How to Apply Interested candidates are invited to apply through Indeed by submitting their updated resume and a brief cover letter Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay From 30 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Paid sick time Work Location In person
