Department Production Logistics Location Angamally Reports to Production Manager Factory Manager Position Overview The Packing Despatch Supervisor is responsible for planning coordinating and supervising all packing labeling and dispatch activities for soft play items trampoline parts and other indoor play equipment The role ensures that all products are packed safely accurately and dispatched on time as per customer requirements and company standards Key Responsibilities 1 Packing Quality Control Supervise and guide packing team members for proper packing of soft play items trampolines foam parts vinyl products metal frames and accessories Ensure all items are packed safely using the correct packaging materials bubble wrap cartons foam sheets shrink wrap etc Verify product quality quantity and finishing before packing Ensure each product is labeled with correct codes project name destination and documentation 2 Despatch Logistics Coordinate daily despatch plans with production store and logistics teams Prepare delivery notes packing lists and dispatch documentation Ensure proper loading of materials into vehicles avoiding damage during transit Follow up with transporters for timely pickup and delivery Track shipments and update the manager or customer support team 3 Inventory Coordination Maintain records of packed items pending items and dispatched goods Coordinate with stores for material shortages packing consumables and reorder requirements Work closely with project coordinators to understand customer delivery schedules 4 Safety Compliance Ensure adherence to safety procedures during packing and loading Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in packing and dispatch area Ensure all team members follow company safety rules while handling heavy large materials 5 Team Management Assign daily tasks to packing staff and monitor performance Train team on correct packing methods and handling instructions Resolve any operational issues and report major concerns to management Required Skills Qualifications Experience 1-5 years in packing dispatch in manufacturing industry experience in soft play foam furniture or fabrication industry preferred Education Diploma Any degree Strong knowledge of packing materials and safe handling techniques Good understanding of logistics coordination and documentation Ability to supervise a team and meet deadlines Basic computer knowledge Excel delivery notes email Good communication and planning skills Competencies Attention to detail Time management Leadership ability Problem-solving attitude Ability to handle pressure Robust responsibility and discipline Salary Range - 20-25K based on experience Working Conditions Full-time factory-floor role Requires physical activity lifting moving materials May require extended hours during project deadlines Job Type Full-time Pay 20 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Work Location In person
