Requisition: Senior Software Engineer – Fixed Income Portfolio Construction

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer (6-10 years experience) to join our Front Office technology team supporting Fixed Income Portfolio Construction applications. The candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting business-critical applications used by Portfolio Managers and Investment teams for portfolio construction, rebalancing, analytics, and investment decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise applications supporting Fixed Income portfolio construction and investment workflows.
- Design, optimize, and support complex database solutions, data models, and SQL queries.
- Build and enhance Java-based services, APIs, and backend components.
- Partner closely with Portfolio Managers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to understand business requirements and deliver solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and support application stability and performance.
- Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, testing,



and release activities.
- Contribute to application modernization, cloud adoption, and technical debt reduction initiatives.

Required Skills
- 6-10 years of software development experience.
- Strong expertise in Oracle/SQL databases, including:Data modeling, Query tuning and optimization, Stored procedures and performance troubleshooting
- Intermediate proficiency in Java development.
- Experience with Spring Framework and REST APIs.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder interaction skills.

Preferred
- Knowledge of Fixed Income, Portfolio Management, Trading, or Asset Management domains.
- Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS preferred).
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, Maven, CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disc
