Role & responsibilities
- Handle inward, storage and outward movement of Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, SFG and Finished Goods.
- Verify material quantity, batch number, expiry/retest date and documents at the time of receipt.
- Prepare GRN and ERP entries for all material receipts and movements.
- Issue RM/PM to Production as per approved material requisition.
- Follow FIFO / FEFO and maintain proper batch-wise traceability.
- Maintain accurate physical stock and system inventory.
- Conduct regular stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Monitor minimum stock, shortages, excess, slow-moving and near-expiry materials.
- Maintain proper segregation of Approved, Quarantine, Rejected and Returned materials.
- Ensure proper storage conditions, hygiene,



housekeeping and pest-control requirements.
- Coordinate with Purchase, QA/QC, Production, Planning, Dispatch and Accounts.
- Maintain all store records and documentation for GMP, HACCP, FSSAI/FSSC and customer audits.
- Ensure 100% accuracy in material issue, receipt and batch traceability.
- Report material shortages, damages, expiry risks and stock variances to the Store Manager immediately.
- Ensure protected handling and organized storage of all materials.
