Les Amis Café | Gelateria | Pâtisserie is looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Kitchen Operations to lead our kitchen team and oversee the complete kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, consistency, hygiene, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations across all sections.
- Lead, supervise, and manage the kitchen team, including chefs and commis.
- Plan and monitor daily food production and preparation according to business requirements.
- Ensure consistent food quality, taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Develop and maintain kitchen SOPs, recipes, and production standards.
- Monitor food costs, wastage, portioning, and overall kitchen efficiency.
- Manage inventory, stock levels, purchasing, and raw material requirements.
- Coordinate with the management and service team to ensure smooth operations.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff and maintain proper discipline and performance standards.
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety,



hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Handle kitchen scheduling, manpower planning, and allocation of responsibilities.
- Identify operational issues and implement effective solutions.
- Support menu development, product development, and seasonal offerings.
- Ensure the kitchen is well-maintained, organized, and properly equipped.
- Monitor equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs when required.

Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in kitchen operations, preferably in a café, restaurant, bakery, pâtisserie, or similar F&B; environment.
- Proven experience in a senior kitchen leadership/management role.
- Strong knowledge of food production, kitchen operations, and food safety.
- Excellent team leadership and people-management skills.
- Solid understanding of food cost, inventory, wastage, and kitchen controls.
- Ability to manage multiple kitchen sections and teams effectively.
