We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with specialized expertise in the dairy or FMCG sector to oversee our daily accounting operations, manage inventory valuation, and handle tax compliances. The ideal candidate must possess expert hands-on experience in Tally (Prime/ERP 9) and an in-depth operational understanding of GST compliance, including multi-rate product classification (exempt vs. taxable dairy SKUs), E-Invoicing, E-Way bills, and Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation.

Mandatory Requirements
- Tally Proficiency: Advanced practical experience in Tally Prime / Tally ERP 9 (Ledger management, Inventory modules, Cost Centers, and GST reporting).
- GST Expertise: End-to-end knowledge of GST return filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation), multi-tier HSN mapping for dairy products (0%, 5%, 12%), and E-Invoicing/E-Way bill rules.

Key Responsibilities

GST & Tax Compliance
- Manage GST classification across diverse dairy product categories (e.g., loose/pasteurized milk at 0%, butter/ghee/cheese at 5%12%).




- Generate and validate E-Invoices and E-Way Bills for bulk supply, milk transport, and distribution networks.
- Perform monthly GSTR-2B vs. Books reconciliation to ensure maximum eligible Input Tax Credit (ITC) claim and prevent blocked/ineligible credits.
- Prepare and file GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B accurately within statutory timelines.
- Oversee TDS/TCS computations, return filings, and assist in annual GST audit procedures (GSTR-9/9C).

Dairy Accounting & Tally Operations
- Maintain accurate accounting records, vouchers, and general ledger entries in Tally.
- Manage accounting for daily raw milk procurement, farmer/cooperative payouts, center-level collections, and transit losses.
- Track inventory across cold storage facilities, processing plants, and distribution hubs, ensuring proper valuation of perishable goods.
