1 . Responsible for achieving set targets, implement defined quality objectives in the plant
2. Conduct studies on quality issues, guide team on process improvements, undertake projects as necessary to reduce / eliminate customer complaints and improve product quality standards
3. Participate in the vendor development process ensuring supplier quality assurance
4. Collaborate with stakeholders across the plant implementing initiatives to resolve quality issues, address customer complaints and improve customer satisfaction
5. Provide support in budgeting and planning for the function in the plant
6. Ensure quality audits, training is carried out to achieve higher standards in quality
7. Responsible for managing the quality team
