Job Purpose To manage and execute the procurement of construction materials equipment and services in a timely and cost-effective manner while ensuring compliance with quality standards and company policies Key Responsibilities Material Procurement Identify material requirements based on site demand and project schedules Source and purchase construction materials like cement steel aggregates fixtures PEB components etc Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid project delays Vendor Management Develop and maintain vendor database for materials and subcontracted services Obtain quotations prepare comparative statements and finalize suppliers Negotiate price credit terms and delivery schedules with vendors Purchase Orders Documentation Prepare and issue Purchase Orders POs as per approved requirements Ensure all procurement activities follow company policies and statutory compliance Maintain proper records of contracts POs and supplier agreements Coordination with Site Accounts Work closely with site engineers project managers and storekeepers to understand material requirements Coordinate with the accounts department for vendor payments Track deliveries and resolve supply issues promptly Quality Cost Control Ensure purchased materials meet quality standards and specifications Control procurement costs without compromising quality Support in achieving project budgets and cost-saving initiatives Reporting MIS Prepare procurement status reports vendor performance evaluations and purchase summaries Update management on material availability delays and critical procurement issues Skills Qualifications Bachelor s Degree Diploma in Civil Engineering Supply Chain or related field 2-5 years of experience in procurement within the construction industry Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Knowledge of construction materials market trends and logistics Proficiency in MS Office ERP or procurement software Good communication and coordination skills Job Type Full time Pay 15 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Work Location In person
