At Apple we are passionate about bringing phenomenal products services and experiences to our customers around the world We celebrate stories committed to improving the lives of those we engage entertain and hopefully inspire Stories told through words music games and of course through movies and TV shows With the introduction of Apple TV and Apple TV Channels we have doubled down on offering our customers amazing content both produced by Apple and our partners Imagine what you could do here We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Business Manager to further grow our TV business in India The individual needs to be an outstanding team player data proficient analytically-minded and highly passionate about video content The ideal candidate will also have a thorough understanding of the market partner and content landscapes with experience handling and growing subscription businesses Description In this role you will - Help define the strategy of our TV business in close collaboration with local global management teams - Take a data-led approach to optimise performance and growth across all of Apple s Video initiatives including Apple TV Channels 3rd party App-based services and transactional - Work with local and international teams and leverage self-serve tools to build an understanding of TV performance analytics including forecasts growth churn viewership and engagement and report it regularly - Work closely with our Business Development teams to build maintain and expand business relationships with established and prospective partners to drive availability awareness and engagement for our platform - Collaborate across a wide range of cross-functional teams including but not limited to editorial operations and marketing to build momentum around key initiatives and see them through - Proactively look for areas of chance to deliver consumer-first initiatives to grow our TV business while keeping a keen and curious eye on the market the competition and trends to build learnings Minimum Qualifications 8 years of total experience ideally across strategy consulting banking or PE VC and the media entertainment industry Solid understanding of the video entertainment industry specifically streaming as well as key trends players and growth drivers Experience working in a global capacity and partnering with international cross-functional teams and external ecosystem partners e g telcos to drive success Outstanding analytical skills and the ability to clearly present actionable business insights to senior leadership Excellent management capabilities setting goals driving performance across multiple projects delivering against tight timelines Proactive results-oriented and highly adaptable attitude with outstanding communication and interpersonal relationship building skills Preferred Qualifications An MBA or a Master s degree or equivalent experience is preferred You love series movies and other video content and have a broad understanding of the medium even outside of your personal tastes Passion for and understanding of the Apple brand and products Proficiency in English and at least one Indian language is required Additional languages are a plus Some international travel may be required Submit CV
