Applies the principles of software engineering to the design development maintenance testing and evaluation of software and computer systems Works cross-functionally to understand business requirements evaluate alternative approaches and ensure software and systems are designed to facilitate ease of use and seamless integration into the target environments Incorporates state-of-the-art concepts tools and practices to facilitate system functionality security and continuous improvement DN s ACDE team has a need for Software engineer that can work in the Infrastructure and Operations team addressing issues from the field and digging into operational and code anomalies to enhance the overall solution The engineer will belong to a team size of about 5 which would be responsible for the continued operations and infrastructure required to support the service organization ACDE is an Azure Cloud solution designed to provide a higher level of intelligence through data analytics to support the Service organization in reducing call rates This position requires the ability to understand mid to complex Azure cloud-based software systems utilizing Azure DevOps to implement mainly defect fixes with some minor feature implementation The ideal candidate would desire to spend time analyzing existing systems to determine the root cause of an issue and then delicately modify the code base to address the defect enhancing the overall system The work involved will require leveraging Azure resources containerization database NoSQL relational non-relational messaging queues event hubs and Splunk usage on a regular basis The main development work is written in NET core and Microsoft technologies The position is remote which requires self-motivated individuals to deliver high quality updates Code reviews design reviews are expected with the delivery work As part of the team you will also be required to be involved in deployments investigate production issues and to be adaptable in the work that is being tasked to ensure the system as a whole is operating as expected The work is given in DevOps tickets on a per sprint basis The full team is distributed across 2 geographical regions including India US staffed with talented and self-driven individuals Daily work is to be completed remotely If in Hyderabad area there are offices that can be used to visit or work from Gains familiarity with Software Engineering concepts practices and methodologies With guidance performs standard Software Engineering duties including Coding basic components according to standard protocols and coding guidelines Assisting with writing unit tests to provide coverage for common code paths Learning and applying industry and company Software Engineering standards policies and guidelines Preparing and providing documentation for implementation and operation of own produced software changes and programs according to standard formats and supervisory guidelines Assists in the implementation customization and integration of more complex tasks under supervision of an experienced Software Engineer Gains comfort working in a small team environment Demonstrates willingness to accept and learn from work evaluation appraisal from senior engineers Required Qualifications Diploma or equivalent work experience required Minimum of 0-2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Software Engineering Good business English skills Written and spoken
