Role & responsibilities :
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations and ITC safety guidelines.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine causes and develop preventive measures.
- Provide safety training and education to employees at all levels.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement safety improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and central safety regulations as per the guidelines framed by the competent authority.
- Monitor and analyse safety performance metrics and report findings to management.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement.

Preferred candidate profile :
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a safety management role, in a manufacturing setting.
- Certification as Safety Officer as per Safety Officers rule by Factories dept, Govt. of Telangana will be preferred or RLI Safety certification.
