We are looking for a Service Head to manage the day-to-day legal service operations of the firm.
The candidate will be responsible for handling client files, maintaining legal documentation, tracking hearings and matters, preparing reports, coordinating with advocates/team members, and ensuring that every legal matter is properly documented and updated.
This is an operations and service-management role requiring excellent organization, English typing, documentation, reporting, and follow-up skills.
Key Responsibilities1. Legal File Management
The Service Head will be responsible for maintaining and managing all client files.
Responsibilities include:
- Opening and maintaining client matter files.
- Maintaining physical and digital files.
- Organizing documents matter-wise.
- Ensuring all required documents are available in the file.
- Maintaining proper file naming and folder structures.
- Updating files whenever current documents are received.
- Maintaining confidentiality of client information.
- Ensuring files are properly handed over between team members.

Hearing & Matter Management
The candidate will maintain records of all ongoing legal matters.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining hearing dates.
- Preparing daily/weekly hearing lists.
- Updating hearing status after every hearing.
- Recording the next date of hearing.
- Maintaining matter-wise status.
- Tracking pending actions in each matter.
- Coordinating with advocates regarding hearing updates.
- Ensuring important deadlines and dates are not missed.
- Preparing reports of upcoming hearings and pending matters.
3. Legal Documentation
The Service Head will coordinate and maintain documentation relating to legal matters.
