Responsibilities
- Complex EDD and ODD cases, including high-risk customers, PEPs, and sanctioned individuals, ensuring full regulatory compliance across EU markets.
- Review, validate, and approve L1 case investigations, providing guidance and mentorship to junior analysts.
- Identify and mitigate risks in customer profiles, financial statements, and transactions, applying advanced analytical and investigative skills.
- Oversee case documentation, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Proactively contribute to process improvement initiatives, automation, and optimization of KYC workflows, tools, and platforms.
- Collaborate closely with team members, to ensure a comprehensive approach and act as an intermediary.
- Maintain a customer-centric mindset while balancing compliance and operational efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes, industry best practices, and emerging methodologies, and provide guidance on their implementation.

Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in KYC, AML,



and regulatory compliance, with hands-on experience in complex EDD and ODD cases and/or Deep AML investigations.
- Proven track record of managing high-risk and PEP customer portfolios, including decision-making and escalation handling.
- Strong knowledge of EU banking regulations and KYC requirements, with the ability to interpret and apply them to complex scenarios.
- Experience in mentoring or supervising junior analysts and providing guidance in case handling and risk assessment.
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented, capable of identifying patterns, anomalies, and risk indicators independently.
- Solid communication and collaboration skills to work across teams and escalate critical issues appropriately.
- Ability to adapt to regulatory changes and contribute to process and tool enhancements.
