Job Title Lab Assistant Department Quality Control R D Location Bhilai Chattisgarh Reports To Lab Supervisor Quality Manager Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Lab Assistant to support the daily operations of our quality control and research labs in a manufacturing setting The Lab Assistant will be responsible for preparing samples conducting routine tests maintaining lab equipment and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards Key Responsibilities Prepare label and test raw materials in-process materials and finished products Assist with chemical physical or mechanical testing based on standard operating procedures SOPs Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment Record analyze and report test results accurately and in a timely manner Assist in root cause analysis and product quality investigations Ensure the lab remains clean safe and compliant with health and safety regulations Maintain proper documentation for audits and regulatory compliance Support R D or production teams with product development or scale-up testing Manage lab inventory including chemicals tools and disposables Adhere to ISO GMP or other applicable standards depending on the industry Qualifications Diploma Bachelor s degree in Chemistry Chemical Engineering B Sc Microbiology or a related science 1-2 years of experience in a lab environment internships or co-op experience acceptable Familiarity with lab instruments such as pH meters spectrophotometers viscometers etc Basic understanding of manufacturing and quality control principles Robust organizational and communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic lab software Preferred Skills Experience in a manufacturing environment pharma plastics chemicals etc Knowledge of GMP ISO 9001 Ability to work independently and in a team under minimal supervision Job Type Full-time Pay 10 000 00 - 15 000 00 per month Work Location In person
