About Us Gokulam Grand Trivandrum is a distinguished five-star business-class hotel known for its exceptional hospitality luxurious ambience and world-class dining experiences We are looking for talented culinary professionals to join our team and contribute to our high standards of excellence Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chinese Cook to join our culinary team The ideal candidate will be experienced in preparing authentic Chinese dishes maintaining high-quality standards and delivering exceptional taste and presentation in line with our brand values Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese dishes including dim sum stir-fried items soups and specialty entrees Ensure consistency and quality of taste portioning and presentation Maintain proper hygiene safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen as per hotel policies Assist in menu planning recipe development and special promotions Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure adequate supplies Work collaboratively with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations Adhere to food cost and waste reduction guidelines Maintain cleanliness of workstations and follow all HACCP FSSAI guidelines Requirements Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Chinese Cook in a hotel restaurant or similar culinary environment Solid knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques ingredients and equipment Ability to work in a fast-paced high-volume kitchen Good communication and teamwork skills Flexibility to work in shifts including weekends and holidays Culinary diploma or equivalent certification preferred but not mandatory Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 180 000 00 - 204 000 00 per year Benefits Flexible schedule Food provided Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
