Store Keeper - Position Summary The Store Keeper is responsible for managing organizing and maintaining the company s inventory and stock This role ensures that materials and supplies are received stored and issued accurately and efficiently while maintaining proper documentation and inventory control procedures Key Responsibilities 1 Receiving Inspection Receive incoming materials goods and supplies Verify the quantity and quality of items against purchase orders and delivery notes Report damages discrepancies or shortages immediately 2 Storage Organization Maintain proper storage labeling and organisation of all items in the store Ensure items are stored in safe clean and accessible locations Implement first-in-first-out FIFO and first-expiry-first-out FEFO methods where applicable 3 Issuing Dispatch Issue materials and supplies to departments as per approved requisitions Record outgoing items accurately and maintain updated stock levels Prepare materials for dispatch when required 4 Inventory Management Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile differences Maintain accurate inventory records in manual or digital systems Monitor stock levels and raise purchase requests when stock is low 5 Documentation Reporting Maintain daily records of receipts issues returns and wastage Prepare inventory reports for management and purchasing departments Ensure all documents are filed and stored properly for audit compliance 6 Safety Compliance Ensure the store area is clean well-organized and compliant with safety standards Follow company policies and procedures related to inventory handling Handle items with care to prevent damage and wastage Qualifications Skills Minimum 12th pass graduate preferred 1-3 years of experience in storekeeping inventory control or warehouse operations Basic computer skills MS Excel inventory software Solid attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lift moderately heavy items and multitask Job Type Full-time Pay 15 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Health insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Provident Fund Work Location In person
