Summary of the Role You ll take ownership of all electrical systems power distribution automation and energy management programs ensuring safe effective and reliable operations In this role you ll lead preventive and corrective maintenance drive continuous improvement and maximize production uptime while managing a high-performing team What You ll Do You will supervise plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical equipment HT LT panels transformers motors VFDs PLCs SCADA You will ensure uninterrupted power supply to all plant equipment and utilities You will troubleshoot electrical issues in real time to minimize downtime You will lead electrical aspects of new equipment installations upgrades and infrastructure projects You will coordinate with vendors contractors and internal teams to meet timelines and budgets c You will monitor and analyze energy consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives You will manage a team of electrical engineers and technicians You will maintain accurate documentation SLDs maintenance logs SOPs compliance reports You will prepare and present reports on equipment performance downtime analysis and project status What We re Looking For You must have a Bachelor s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering You must have proven experience as an Electrical Engineer ideally in manufacturing or tire production You must have technical expertise of HT LT systems drives PLCs SCADA and industrial automation You must have excellent problem-solving analytical and decision-making abilities You must have effective communication and documentation skills You must be able to work independently and lead in a fast-paced environment What Sets You Apart Experience with automation systems and PLC programming Rockwell Automation Hands-on experience with tire-specific manufacturing equipment Banbury mixers curing presses calendars Ability to lead complex projects and deliver results under pressure LI-JB1 Goodyear is one of the world s largest tire companies It employs about 68 000 people and manufactures its products in 51 facilities in 19 countries around the world Its two Innovation Centers in Akron Ohio and Colmar-Berg Luxembourg strive to develop state-of-the-art products and services that set the technology and performance standard for the industry For more information about Goodyear and its products go to Goodyear is an equal employment opportunity employer All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to any characteristic protected by law
