We are seeking CA CMA professionals for the role of Manager - Project Integrity Finance Strategy for our Nature-Based Carbon Credit Projects including Regenerative Agriculture Agroforestry Biochar and Enhanced Rock Weathering Each lead will independently manage one project pathway The Manager will ensure Strategic oversight of project finances including P L and investor reporting Compliance with registry standards and customer contracts Fraud prevention asset safeguarding and cost optimization Accuracy of reporting and end-to-end data integrity Key Responsibilities 1 Business Finance P L Oversight Manage project P L through budgeting forecasting and financial reporting Track budget vs actuals analyze variances and implement cost-control measures Provide financial insights and advise on revenue opportunities Prepare investor reports and financial performance summaries Collaborate with corporate finance and investor relations to ensure alignment with project goals 2 Field Audits On-Ground Validation Conduct extensive field visits for physical verification Inspect work progress deployed assets and field activities Validate beneficiary interactions collected data and field reports Identify low-cost alternatives for efficient project execution Detect risks inefficiencies and opportunities for cost optimization 3 Financial Compliance Audit Review invoices vendor bills and payment requests Validate cost claims and ensure complete documentation Conduct internal checks to prevent misreporting irregularities and fraud Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and statutory requirements Prepare and certify milestone documents needed for project submissions 4 Reporting Stakeholder Coordination Prepare audit reports certification notes and risk assessments Collaborate with internal teams to close audit observations Present findings and recommendations to management Maintain audit independence while supporting smooth project operations Qualifications CMA or CA Completed articleship with substantive audit exposure 1-2 years post-qualification experience in any of the following - Due Diligence Internal Audit Cost Audit Statutory Audit Financial Controls or Project Audits Robust understanding of customer contracts and carbon registry standards Expertise in financial analysis budgeting and P L management Comfortable with extensive on-ground travel including rural areas Strong analytical ability and fraud detection skills Strong capability in risk identification investigation and problem-solving Effective communication and stakeholder management including investor reporting Additional Information Why Join Us Be part of the founding leadership team of one of the fastest-growing climate-tech startups in India Build a global brand with real-world impact on climate soil health and farmer livelihoods Work with passionate entrepreneurs and global investors driving sustainability innovation Competitive compensation meaningful ESOPs ownership in Varaha s journey
