Cashier Position Summary A Cashier is responsible for processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area Key Responsibilities Greet customers as they enter and exit the store Handle cash credit and debit card transactions using a point-of-sale POS system Issue receipts or exchanges when authorised Maintain accurate cash drawer count and reconcile at beginning and end of shifts Assist customers with inquiries and resolve issues professionally Keep checkout areas clean organised and stocked with necessary supplies Follow all store policies and procedures regarding cash handling and security Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Basic math skills and attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus Job Types Full time Permanent Pay 12 000 00 - 15 000 00 per month Schedule Day shift Fixed shift Work Location In person
