Global University Systems GUS is one of the world s most dynamic inclusive and diverse education organisations GUS is an international network of higher education institutions brought together by a shared passion for accessible and industry-relevant qualifications We deliver a wide variety of programmes including bachelor s degree programmes master s degree programmes professional training English Language training and corporate executive education When someone chooses to study at one of our institutions whether on campus in Europe North America Asia or even in their own home they are joining a network of over 100 000 students worldwide When you decide to work with GUS you will be joining an industry leading global organisation that has a reach in over 150 different countries Position The Integration Solutions Architect is responsible for providing strategic guidance in the development process making technical decisions regarding solutions and explaining how they will impact the organisation The Integration Solutions Architect manages a team of business analysts who gather business requirements from various stakeholders producing functional development documents for the development and QA teams and manages project delivery from scoping to roll-out Along with the developers they also manage change requests and establish post go-live support for existing technical products that they own Communicates with and manages expectation of senior management and other stakeholders Creates project plan functional and potentially technical documentation for the development team then prepares project status reports and presents project performance updates to relevant business stakeholders Suggests improvements best practices and takes ownership of implementing them Looks after technical products through their entire life cycle From scoping to post-rollout support and change requests Manages project budget sign-off and tracking against budget Works with business partners to conduct user acceptance testing Creates risk mitigation strategies to anticipate assess and resolve project risks as they are encountered Ensures all projects adhere to project methodology compliance standards set by the company Maintains knowledge on business and technology trends that impact the business environment Manages a team of business analysists on creating maintaining technical integration products Creating and leading IT system integration processes to meet the organisation s needs Conducting regular evaluations of the system architecture and collaborating with project management teams to improve the designs Evaluating any project constraints and devising alternatives to reduce risks whilst performing process re-engineering Keeping collaborators updated about the status of the project development and budgets and notifying them immediately when issues arise Analysing and finding any impacts that that technical changes may have on a client s business proceeding Supervising and motivating development teams to improve their efficiency and productivity Performing continuous research on emerging technologies to stay updated with the best alternatives and to improve the existing architectures for clients Requirements Education Minimum Requirement Degree in Business Project Management Computer Science Data Science Information Technology or related field Experience Minimum 7 Years of experience in IT solutions architect or a related field Exemplary communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams Robust project management and organizational skills Experience producing software development scope specification documentation functional requirements Very strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Ability to learn quickly and work with best practices More than 5 years working knowledge of managing Salesforce developments Enthusiastic self-motivated self-starter and maintains positive attitude Excellent time management and organizational skills coordinate complex projects meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Good understanding of relational databases Optional but preferred experience knowledge of a software or programming environment SQL AWS AWS SQSSF Flows Apex Other information Please note this position is only available on our Consultancy agreement We acknowledge receipt of your resume for a position at Global University Systems and sincerely appreciate your interest in our company We will screen all applicant CVs and select the candidates whose qualifications and experience meet our requirements Please note due to the high volume of applications we will only contact you if you are selected to continue for the next stage of the recruitment process We wish you every success GUS is an equal opportunities employer and positively encourages applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of sex race disability age sexual orientation or religion or belief
