Reporting To: Manager - MIQA
Purpose of the Role
Ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of plant by schedule inspection of equipment to prevent unplanned failure which effect to setting and safety of plant and people.
Key Responsibilities
Inspection of static Equipment: Executing Thickness inspection schedules, inspecting incoming material stage wise inspection of static equipment during fabrication and Ndt testing as per Perform NDt testing of weld joint by DP, MPT, UT testing.
Testing of safety Devices: - Testing of safety devices installed in plant like safety valve, PSV, Rupture dish, FA and breather valve. Do testing of safety valve on test bench and make report and track record of testing and due date of testing. Co-ordinate to plant people to release equipment for testing
Leak detection, Thermography:
- Conduct Testing of entire plant and prepare report
Plant Reliability: Ensure availability by doing RCA of breakdown of equipment.
Safety & Compliance: Ensuring all maintenance activities comply with safety procedures, environmental regulations, and handling hazardous area requirements. Maintain record of Form no 9,10and 11. Track record and do Hydr testing and load testing of pressure vessel and lighting tools.
Shutdown Planning: Planning and coordinating major plant shutdowns/turnarounds and
modifications.
Manpower handling: - Internal and Third-party manpower handing to execute Job.
Documentation & Spares: Maintaining maintenance records, updating equipment manuals, and managing spare parts inventory
Education & Qualification
BE Mechanical, NDT Level II in NDT.
Experience
05 to 7 years of experience in chemical industries.
