We are seeking a proactive Chartered Accountant (qualified or semiqualified) to lead finance operations, ensure accounting accuracy, support tax research and compliance, manage client relationships, and champion AI-enabled tools across the firm. The ideal candidate combines robust technical accounting/tax skills with team leadership, client-facing experience, and practical knowledge of AI tools for finance.

Key Responsibilities
- Team performance and people management
- Lead, coach, and evaluate a team of accountants/AEs; set performance goals and conduct periodic reviews.
- Allocate resources, monitor workloads, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Manage leave approvals, attendance tracking, and escalate staffing issues.
- Accounting review and controls
- Review books of account, ledgers, reconciliations, and monthend / quarterend / yearend closing activities.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
- Identify and recommend process improvements and internal control enhancements.




- Taxation research and compliance
- Research complex tax issues, interpret statutes, circulars, and case law; provide actionable guidance to the team and clients.
- Oversee tax computations, filings, and timelines; coordinate with external tax advisors where required.
- Client relationship management
- Act as primary contact for assigned clients; build and maintain trust through timely communication and high-quality deliverables.
- Understand clients business needs, recommend value-added services, and manage client expectations.
- Partner representation
- Represent partners on matters of finance, compliance, and client engagements when required.
- Prepare briefs and status updates for partners and participate in partner-client discussions.
- AI adoption and oversight
- Possess requisite knowledge of AI tools applicable to accounting, tax research, document automation, and analytics.
