Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manager / Senior Manager Taxation to lead the organization's tax function. The ideal candidate must have solid hands-on experience in both Direct Taxation and Indirect Taxation, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws, optimizing tax processes, managing assessments, and providing strategic tax advisory support to the business.

Key Responsibilities

Direct Taxation:

Ensure timely preparation and filing of corporate income tax returns and other direct tax compliances.

Manage advance tax, TDS/TCS compliance, tax provisioning, and deferred tax calculations.

Handle income tax assessments, appeals, notices, and litigation.

Coordinate with tax consultants, statutory auditors, and regulatory authorities.

Review tax computations and identify opportunities for tax optimization while ensuring compliance.

Monitor changes in direct tax laws and assess their impact on the organization.





Indirect Taxation:

Oversee GST compliance, including return filing, reconciliations, and tax payments.

Manage GST audits, assessments, departmental notices, and litigation.

Ensure accurate Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation and compliance.

Review tax implications on business transactions and contracts.

Coordinate with business teams to ensure GST compliance across operations.

Keep abreast of changes in GST and other indirect tax regulations and implement necessary process changes.

Mandatory Requirements:

Qualified CA.

Minimum 5+ years of relevant taxation experience.

Hands-on expertise in both Direct Taxation and Indirect Taxation.

Excellent working knowledge of Tally, Microsoft Excel, and Computax software.
