Job Title Marine Electrical Engineer - Shipyard Location Kattupalli Chennai Experience Required 2 - 3 Years Job Overview We are looking for a skilled Marine Electrical Engineer to join our shipyard team at Kattupalli The role involves handling installation maintenance troubleshooting and repair of electrical and electronic systems onboard vessels and within shipyard facilities The candidate should have strong knowledge of marine electrical systems and shipyard practices Key Responsibilities Perform installation inspection and maintenance of electrical systems in ships and shipyard equipment Diagnose and repair faults in motors generators switchboards control panels and cabling systems Assist in electrical system design and modification for shipbuilding and repair projects Ensure compliance with marine classification societies and international regulations Work with mechanical hull and other engineering teams to ensure smooth project execution Maintain accurate records of electrical repairs inspections and modifications Support in testing commissioning and sea trials of electrical systems Requirements Diploma B E B Tech in Electrical Marine 2 - 3 years of experience in a shipyard or marine industry Knowledge of marine power systems automation navigation and communication equipment Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and maintenance of marine electrical systems Familiarity with marine safety standards IMO IEC IS class regulations Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills Preferred Skills Experience in ship retrofitting dry-dock projects or new ship construction Knowledge of PLC systems instrumentation and control systems Ability to work in challenging environments with strict deadlines Job Types Full time Permanent Pay 25 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Work Location In person
