Job Responsibilities:

- SQL Production Support:
- Provide comprehensive support for SQL databases, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance.
- Develop and execute complex SQL queries and scripts to facilitate data analysis and reporting.
- Manage incident resolution processes, ensuring minimal downtime and prompt issue resolution.
- Maintain and update documentation related to database configurations, processes, and procedures.
- DevOps Engineering:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins to automate software builds, tests, and deployments.
- Utilize containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes to deploy and manage applications efficiently.
- Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS services including EC2 and CloudWatch, to ensure high availability and scalability.
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions using tools like Datadog, Splunk, or similar, to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and automation.

Required Skills:

- SQL Expertise:




- Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries and scripts.
- Experience in SQL production support roles, including incident management and performance tuning.
- DevOps Proficiency:
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins.
- Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) technologies.
- Experience with AWS services, particularly EC2 and CloudWatch.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Datadog, Splunk, or similar.
- Proficiency in Linux operating systems and scripting languages for automation.
- Additional Skills:
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira for project management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in managing and supporting large-scale production environments.
- Relevant certifications in SQL, DevOps, or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and practices.
